Stimson Lumber Contributes $200,000 to Stop Measure 49

TimbertruckStimson Lumber Co. contributed $200,000 to try and defeat Measure 49 this November. The lumber company passed the check to Tigard-based Oregonians In Action, who is leading the fight against Measure 49.  Other noteworthy contributers include:

  • Swanson Group of Glendale, a wood products company - $100,000
  • A-dec Inc., a Newberg company that makes dental office equipment - $100,000
  • Hire Calling, a Utah-based employment agency - $100,000.
  • Seneca Lumber -  $50,000

Thanks to all the support, Oregonian In Action have now accumulated 1.15 million - $994,972 of which they have already spent - to fight Measure 49.
