Indian Hill LLC contributed $5,000 to ensure the passage of Measure 37 in 2004. Once the measure passed, Indian Hill filed a $2,500,000 claim with Jackson County under the new statute. The development claim is for a subdivision of 241.08 acres in a designated Forest Resource (FR) area. Of course, Jackson County has no means of paying the claimant, and has been forced to approve the development claim.
